Still Here Daily: why we're building this.

A first note for the families who keep showing up when the world feels quiet.

What We Are

For the message box that feels heavier than it should.

Still Here Daily was created for the families who open a jail messaging app, stare at the blank space, and wonder how to fit love, worry, updates, hope, exhaustion, and encouragement into a few short lines.

It is not a replacement for your voice. It is a support tool for the moments when your heart is full but the words will not come.

We create copy/paste cards families can personalize for the facility messaging app they already use—encouragement, conversation starters, daily routines, holidays, clean humor, meditations, canteen ideas, workouts, news, and sports. Those same prompts and shared topics can also make phone calls, video visits, and in-person conversations feel less forced and more natural.

Because connection should not depend on having the perfect thing to say.

Why It Exists

Because they are still part of the family.

When someone you love is incarcerated, everyone talks about the person inside. Fewer people talk about the people outside—the moms, dads, sisters, brothers, spouses, kids, friends, and families trying to keep life moving while still holding a place for someone they love.

There are days when you have news. Days when you only have tears. Days when you are angry. Days when you miss them. Days when all you can say is, “I'm still here.”

Still Here Daily exists for those days.

Our mission is simple: help families stay connected one meaningful message and one honest conversation at a time.
